God’s Promise:
Ask and You Will Find

God loves man deeply. He loves all that He has created. But why does He say that He loves mankind the most? What makes man different before God?

God created man in His own image, in His likeness. This is His mystery. At birth, He breathed His Spirit into man — something He did not give to any other creation. This is His grace. He also endowed man with the “Hanif nature,” an innate disposition carrying the capacity to understand, to perceive, and to discern. He granted this as a gift. Above man’s head, He placed what He called the “mind,” so that we may reason. This is the gift of thought.

Yet this was not enough. From Adam onward, God sent messengers, one after another, without interruption, so that everything might be explained. Still more, He gave mankind the gift of free will — the right to choose. “I have sanctified it, made it holy,” He said. Why did He grant all these gifts only to mankind? So that man may distinguish truth from falsehood. This is His infinite love.

But along with this, God also placed within man the soul weighed down by what He called the “19 afflictions.” This was set upon the left shoulder. Through this, Satan was given room to whisper, to deceive, to lure man into sin by activating those afflictions. Thus, whenever a person commits sin, negative degrees are recorded on the left.

Yet on the right shoulder, God placed His “helper Spirit,” which He called “My Spirit.”

Each time a person is tempted, this Spirit inspires the mind, stirs the conscience, and urges resistance against the soul, leading man to turn away from sin. The Spirit gives inspiration, the conscience rises, and evil is restrained. In this way, God’s mercy rescues His servants from loss.

Then God declared: “Descend from Paradise to the earth. Let it be your place of testing. Whoever increases their positive degrees beyond the negative will return to My Paradise. But those who surrender to the afflictions of their souls and whose negative degrees outweigh the positive — for them I have created Hell as justice.”

God took a covenant from all the descendants of Adam. He asked them to face trials and circumstances by the guidance of Spirit, mind, and Hanif nature, and by obedience to His commands — that they may increase the light in their hearts and long for Him, pledging to receive the Holy Spirit. Everyone gave this pledge. But because of the freedom of choice, some would keep their promise, while others would not. Those who would remain faithful, He called “My oath-keeping servants” from the beginning and sanctified them.

Satan then said: “I will surround Your servants, mislead them with my whispers, and turn them into rebels against You.” He asked for time until the Day of Judgment. God replied: “You are given permission — but not over My sincere servants. Them you cannot mislead.”

Who are these? They are those who ask for God and receive His Holy Spirit.

Those who knock at His door and enter His straight and narrow way. Those who kneel before the messenger, cling to his pure hand, repent, and are forgiven. They are trained and guided by the Spirit and the messenger, and they walk toward God.

They are also those who return the entrusted Spirit, surrender their bodies of flesh and bone fully to God, yield their souls to Him, and bind even their will to His will. Over these, Satan has no power. For they are God’s oath-keeping servants. They belong to Him, and they shall enter His Paradise.

The Word of God never changes. He is just. Not the slightest wrong has ever been done to anyone, nor will it be. Whatever man does is for himself — whether good or evil. Man is self-seeking. Yet the greatest and most reasonable pursuit is obedience to God, turning to Him, and seeking refuge in Him. God is the most beautiful refuge.

Let everything be for God, and in His name. Amen.
